I placed an order on line on January 4, 2017. All four of the items I ordered were in stock and I received confirmation of such. On January 10, 2017, I only received 3 out of the 4 items and so I went online to see where the 4th item was. Initially, it said it was “Processing” but I later found out by going online that the balance of my order was “Cancelled” by someone at Dick’s. When I looked online again for the item, I could see that the particular size and color that I originally ordered was now “out of stock”. What was curious is that I never received any notification of any of this from the Customer Support Department. No emails, apologies or offers of a refund. That left me to inquire as to how the balance of my order would be credited back to me since the bulk of the order was paid for by way of a Gift Card. They told me the balance would be applied back to my Gift Card. That didn’t happen, so I wrote them again. They told me to wait 2 – 3 additional business days for them to “research” it. Research what? Amazon would have resolved this in minutes, even on a weekend. After 3 additional business days…still no credit to my Gift Card. I wrote them again and now they say they have referred the issue to a Customer Support Supervisor and assigned a 2nd case number to refer to. Are you kidding me? These people are clueless. Almost two weeks since I placed my order and I still have no refund / credit. I will never shop at Dick’s again.
