    I ordered something from Dick's on 2/2/17. Scheduled delivery was 2/14. I never received my order so I checked online to track my order. Response was technical difficulties. calling their customer service number. I attempted this 3 times but each time I was on hold for over 30 minutes so I hung up. Decided to send them an email.     I placed an order on line on January 4, 2017. All four of the items I ordered were in stock and I received confirmation of such.     My wife and I were looking at treadmills for 2014 Christmas for ourselves. We went into our local Dick's store to look at the treadmills and test the feel. The first time in the store, we tried to find someone to help us and had difficulty. We were told the person over this department would be with us shortly.     Will not do business with Dick's again! They ruined my Christmas with my son. I placed my online order on 12/17 and they guaranteed Christmas delivery if ordered by the 18th. I got my shipped email a couple of days later and immediately tracked it. It showed delivery for the 26th!     Dick's security policy is to put the security tag in the center of the shoulder blades - even on very expensive gore tex rainwear. Other stores use the sleeve, zipper flap, etc as not to poke holes in a critical part of the water barrier. Store managers say they cannot circumvent this policy, so Dicks ruins their waterproof apparel as a matter of normal business practice.     I purchased a hoodie on black Friday online and received it 4 days later with the security tag still attached. The customer service rep was very helpful and said this had happened to several other people. I said I could simply take my shirt into DSG and have the tag removed. As I live over 2 hours away, I chose to have a shipping label mailed to me and the item sent in to have the tag removed, or a new item sent to me.     My son ordered a hoody and a lanyard from online Sept 29. He card was charged on the 1st October for the 75.00. That amount cleared his account on the 3rd of October. Dick's has went into his account on the 8th of October again and took the 75.00.     I purchased a $529 safe. Had my delivery scheduled for today. Confirmed!6thman called an hour into today to let me know the tech had car problems and they had no way to deliver it today. I arranged to be home today. I can be home tomorrow afternoon. Otherwise I have to wait another week. I am just about ready to cancel the whole thing.     I drove to IN from Louisville to pick up asics shoes that were on hold. Found a pair of Reebok windpants that were ad as 1/2 off the reg. price of $35.00...cashier must have had a bad day as she rang me up while talking to everyone around her...pants rang up at $29.99...didn't realize til we drove home that we overpaid...not worth the drive back to IN for difference.     I purchased a Rawlings woodend baseball bat and Rawlings baseball glove at the store yesterday spending $115, brought them home, pitched 5 slow pitches to my son, and the bat broke. I returned to the store this morning only to learn they will not accept returns on "opened" bats and that I would have to contact the manufacturer to see if they would replace the bat or refund my money.     I visited the Dick’s Sporting Goods store located in Hoover (Birmingham), Alabama. My purpose was to purchase a full set of relaxed cloths to attend a local minor league baseball game. I was attending a military function in the town and had failed to bring civilian clothes.
